Eurovision? More like Controvision! On Saturday, May 16, the final of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place—a self-proclaimed apolitical music competition that Will Ferrell popularized in 2020 and to which the Czech Republic loves to send dark-haired twinks.

However, every year, its former popularity is increasingly overshadowed by controversy and doubts about why this institution even continues to exist and what values it actually represents.

That’s just one of the topics we’ll be discussing during the finale. The Blue Team knows that the action won’t be in Vienna, but at the ARCHY+ café. Join us for a group viewing with nerdy and critical commentary from the creators of the Slejvák podcast (who have experienced Eurovision firsthand in the past) and, most importantly, from special guests.

The Third Space program brings all areas of ARCHA+ to life, except for the Large Hall. The name itself is based on the sociological concept of third places, which describes spaces between home, school, or work where people meet and spend their free time. More information can be found here.
