Věra Ondrašíková & collective: CLOUDS

for schools dance EN friendly For schools
A beautiful visual-dance experience that gently gets into your head and maybe a little lower.

The production focuses on the stories of children and teenagers. What are their problems? Do they have anyone to confide in?
One of the most discussed topics of the current young generation through the eyes of those it affects. The soul. Everyone talks about it, but no one has ever seen it. CLOUDS is a meeting of a few souls with clouds over them.

The latest dance performance by Vera Ondrasikova & al. focuses on the souls of teenagers, their relationships with each other and with adults. Nine young dancers bring the stories and problems of their peers that they encounter on a daily basis - relationships and exclusion from the collective, bullying, criticism of appearance, challenges. CLOUDS offers a new perspective on what the children themselves are experiencing or observing but can't find the right words for.
According to current statistics, parents are among the last people children turn to in times of need. They communicate with their friends more often through social networks than in person. When they find themselves in a crisis situation, they don't confide in anyone.
CLOUDS is about finding a way to communicate and share. Kids with kids, kids with parents, parents with kids, yourself with your inner child. Together. Without words.

The production is accompanied by live music by Filip Míšek. The performance is followed by a moderated discussion with the creators.
